Man fatally shot in Littlerock

LITTLEROCK — A man was fatally shot Monday evening in Littlerock — the third death in the Antelope Valley in less than 24 hours following a shooting death and fatal stabbing, both in Lancaster.

The Littlerock shooting occurred about 10:51 p.m. in the 10800 block of East Avenue S. Los Angeles County sheriff’s homicide detectives responded to the scene regarding a death investigation. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Los Angeles County Department of Medical-Examiner withheld the victim’s name Tuesday pending notification of next-of-kin.
