Animal name: Sailor

Sailor is a two-year-old, white and black, spayed Alaskan Husky that has been at the Lancaster Animal Care Center since February. She was brought to the center as a stray. When Sailor was taken to her behavior assessment, the runner was able to easily leash her. She did pull moderately while walking and was excited to meet other dogs. Sailor exchanged soft greetings and was relaxed while in the play yard. She was social and playful with all other dogs and prefers a gentle/ dainty play style. Sailor is recommended to go to a home with middle school-aged children and is good with large dogs.
