Animal ID No.: A5484605 Animal name: Snuggles

Snuggles is a one-year, six-monthold, altered, male, Siberian Husky that came to the Palmdale Animal Care Center as a stray, on June 6. He has shown to be a happy, friendly dog with the medical staff. He is social with people and other dogs, and is friendly and non-reactive with other dogs. He might need to be leashtrained, as he is quite not sure what do with leashes. The runner opened the play yard gate and presented the loop leash. He pancaked on the floor and dodged the leash. Once the runner placed it, Snuggles exited his kennel willingly. While inside the kennel building area, he walked cautiously behind the runner, but as soon as he exited the building, he started to walk with more confidence. He walked up to the gate to greet a male Shepherd. He entered the yard and walked up to a handler to solicit affection. He then walked away and started to explore the yard, keeping to himself. A young energetic male Shepherd came up to him quickly. He raised his hackles and became tense as the Shepherd sniffed his body. He started to relax and exchanged good greetings with calmer dogs. As more time passed, he continued to relax. Snuggles is recommended to a home with middle school-aged children and to a home with calm dogs.
